Alison Horton CCP (Aust), Perfusion Manager, Royal Melbourne Hospital. Experienced Paediatric and Adult Perfusionist, trained at Guys and the Brompton Hospital, worked at the Harley Street Clinic before moving to Australia. Joined the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne in 1986 and was part of the team that helped establish the first ECMO program in Australia, becoming the first ECMO coordinator and writing the training manual. A past President of the ANZCP working with the Executive since 2000. Represents the ANZCP on AHPA and NASRHP, and is a VECMOS Governance and Clinical Review Board Member. 

Her other passions include working with conservation groups and local government to protect the environment.
